Link: A link is a web address that will take the reader to a different site. For example, if I use a big word like cacophony, I can add a link on that word to take the reader to a online dictionary like this: Cacophony. To do that:
- Go to the web page you want to use as a link.
- Copy the web address
- Highlight the word or phrase you want to link.
- Click Link from the tool bar.
- Paste the link into the web address box.
- Click OK.
You can also add a link to the post and not to a word. or phrase. For example, I wan to create a link to Andrew and Nancy's blog, I could.
- To go the web page.
- Copy the web address.
- Place my cursor on the place of the page where I want that link to go.
- Click Link from the tool bar.
- Type Andrew and Nancy's Blog in the Text to display box.
- Paste the link into the web address box.
- Click OK.
This is what results: Andrew and Nancy's Blog
